Living in the Perfect Will of God

I. The Existence of the Perfect Will of God

A. A "singular will" - Eph. 5:17; John 6:38-40; Heb. 10:7-16

B. God's will in creation - Rev. 4:11

C. Executing "all" God's will - Acts 13:21-22, 36

D. Being shepherded to do God's unique will - Heb. 13:20-21

E. The full-knowledge of His will - Col. 1:9

II. The Experience of the Perfect Will of God

A. Drawing from the mingled spirit is the source and power to do His will
- (cf. Ez. 36:26-27)

1. Willingness to do His will is in our spirit - Matt. 26:41

2. God operates in our spirit to produce willingness in our disposition
- Phil. 2:1, 12-13

B. Keeping our souls in a state of transformation is the means by which we experience the will of God - Eph. 6:6 (cf. Eph. 5:18-20); Rom. 12:2; 2 Cor.3:17--4:1

C. Presenting our bodies is the practical expression of our actually doing the will of God

- Rom. 12:1-2

III. The Way to Live in the Perfect Will of God

A. Consecration - Rom. 12:1; Lev. 1 (the burnt offering)

B. Separation - Rom. 12:2

1. The will of God and being rescued from this age - Gal. 1:4

2. Our affections and the will of God - 1 John 2:15-17

3. Escaping the corruption of the age by partaking of Another Life - 2 Pet. 1:3-4

C. Renewing

1. By the Word - Col. 3:10, 16

2. By daily life - 2 Cor. 4:16

3. By specific steps of coming out of our old life - Eph. 4:22-24

D. Proving

1. What is well-pleasing to the Lord - Eph. 5:10

2. Having the capacity to prove His will - Rom. 12:1-2
