By revelation He made known to me the mystery. which in other ages was not made known." Ephesians 3:3-5

  1. The meaning of your life,
    The reason God has kept you to this day,
    All the things that God has brought your way,
    Are that Christ may make home in you,
    Radiate His presence through and through
    And build you up with others in the church.

    What all the prophets sought,
    The heav'nly vision Paul himself obeyed,
    God desires to you it be conveyed.
    In the word of God you can see
    Revelation of the mystery,
    And now your faith's responding to the Church.

           Call Jesus' name from deep within;
           He'll deliver you from sin,
           But so much more!
           He'll make known to you the great plan,
           He conceived before the world began,
           To have His Son's expression through
              the Church.

  2. The myst'ry of His will
    From countless generations was concealed,
    Never to the sons of men revealed.
    Now both men and angels can see
    The outworking of the mystery
    Is God's administration through the church.

    It's not the work of man;
    The Lord is finishing what He began,
    Gath'ring us according to His plan.
    On the cross divisions He slew;
    Now there's nothing left for us to do,
    But once we simply see it, say, "Amen!"

           Now in Christ Jesus we are one,
           New relationships begun
           In one new man!
           Through the cross one Body produced,
           Something wonderful was introduced:
           The Peace between the members in the church.

  3. What eye has never seen,
    What ear has never heard nor heart conceived -
    Oh, it must be seen to be believed!
    What the Lord prepared for His own
    Through the Spirit now He's making known:
    The practical expression of the church.

    To Wisdom manifold
    The pow'rs and principalities must bow,
    For the fullness of the times is now.
    She's emerging here on the earth.
    Who can tell the half of all her worth?
    God's glorious inheritance, the Church.

           Death works in us but life in you
           As in love we all pursue
           Our gracious Lord.
           While the Spirit's oneness we keep,
           Many more are waking from their sleep,
           And soon He'll be returning for His Church.
