1. At a certain place, at a certain time,
Well planned out by divine design,
The Father sent His only begotten Son.
There was nothing we could do or say
To help ourselves in any way.
Adam's death had passed to all of us.
        Then came that judgment day
When He sin for us became -

              It all happened at Calvary,
God's own righteousness displayed to see.
              The debt was paid eternally
              By one righteous act
              At Calvary.

  2. 'Twas a double transfer there took place,
He was made sin; we, righteousness.
And now our spirit has been made alive.
So now all day long we live from there,
        Sing, praise, participate and share
In all He is and how He lives within.
        Don't take another way.
Say, Amen! and you'll be saved -

              It all happened at Calvary
Where He wrought for us the victory,
              There death abolished thoroughly,
And new life brought forth -
              At Calvary.

  3. And so now in Christ we're made alive,
To one another we're brought nigh.
Our Lord Himself, the peace between us now.
Wouldn't dare disturb that inner life:
        Won't judge, critique and criticize
That blood-bought one, the one for whom Christ died.
        Just amen what is true.
That Amen's the real you -

              It all happened at Calvary
Where through death He slew the enmity,
              The church produced organically.
              Taste the oneness wrought
              At Calvary!
