"What man knows the things of man except the spirit of man which is in him? 1 Corinthians 2:11

  1. I once, Lord, thought it hopeless
        to live a Christian life,
But in me dwells a bubbling well
        that takes away the strife.

I'm going home, in spirit, home-
           where I belong.

  2. You know, Lord, how I've wandered
so far off in my mind-
There all distraught with rebel thought
        refined and unrefined.

  3. The world with all its pleasures
        Would draw away my soul.
Though weak in heart, I've found a part
        that fortifies the whole.

  4. There's no more condemnation
e'en though I tend to roam.
Your precious blood, dear Lamb of God,
        keeps calling me back home.

  5. I dreamed, Lord, once of heaven,
thought that's the place to be.
    Now overwhelmed, that heavenly realm
        is right inside of me!

  6. We've found as we're in spirit
        Real inward harmony-
The one new man, the Father's plan,
        comes automatically.

We're staying home, in spirit, home-
           where we belong.
