Behold, a bright cloud
Overshadowed them
What would God the Father have to say?
A voice spoke from the cloud,
"This is my Beloved Son
In whom I am well-pleased, Hear Him!"
God, who spoke in different ways in times past,
Has in these last days
Spoken unto us
By His Son.
And He is the Heir of all things.
He is the brightness of God's glory
The expression of his person
He's before all things and Lord of all
God's purpose is accomplished in Him
He's the Word, God's will
He is filling all in all
That He Himself may come to have
The preeminence in all things.
(Repeated verse adding last line)
He's the Head of His Body, the Church.
