How To Open and Receive Christ
- Confess His Name
- Simply ask Jesus Christ to come into you.
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
The following is a suggested prayer to help you open your heart to the Lord and receive Him:
"Lord Jesus, I open myself to You and acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe that You love me and shed Your blood on the cross for all my sins. I believe in my heart that You were raised from the dead and that You are here right now. I open my heart to you and receive You this moment. Thank You for coming into me. Thank You for forgiving all my sins. Thank You for this blessed assurance that You live inside of me. I believe that I have become a child of God. I now turn over my whole life to You. I want You to live in me and be my life. Lord Jesus, I love You. I now confess with my mouth Your precious Name -- Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus! Amen!"
